Lake District

Lake District is one of a natural land in England which owns extremely splendid scenery. What's worth to mention are the breathtaking crag and mountain there, because they are as any you’ll find in Switzerland or the French Alps. In 19th, it was a pleasant place for many famous poets like Wordsworth to sought their poetic inspirations. The nature riches makes people fall in love with Lake District. Moreover, there is an abundance of history and culture, including the abandoned slate mines and Rydal Mount.



The Herdwick sheep, a breed of small hardy sheep with course dark wool which is indiginous to the Lake District, history has it that the Herdwick breed of sheep came from shipwrecked galleons from the Spanish.

Afternoon Tea & High Tea


How charming the afternoon tea is!



United Kingdom is famous for afternoon tea and high
tea. Afternoon tea is a light meal which typically taken
around 4 pm. It includes tea, and sometimes coffee.
Besides, there are still pastries, sandwiches, and scones.
This tradition can be traced back to one hundred and
fifty years ago. When rich ladies began to invited their
visiters home and served them tea and cakes, it gradually
become one of United Kingdom's tradition. Besides, for
those who have to work, high tea uses to be eaten in early
evening. It's similar to afternoon tea which served with
rich meal, and delicious sweet food, such as cheese on
toast, toasted crumpets, cold meats and pickles or poached eggs on toast.


The couple is enjoying the time of having the afternoon tea.
