Te name of The Isle of Skye originated from the old Norse sky-a, which means “cloud island”, because mist often covered with this island. It is the biggest island in Scotland. Moreover, the most stunning scenery is the main attraction, such as spectacular mountains, cliffs, and gorgeous lakes. Also, Skyle is one of Scotland’s top three tourist destinations where exists peace and quiet. However, the weather here is changeable.


The Isle of Skye Museum of Island Life is a collection of thatched croft houses depicting life on the Isle of Skye in times gone by.
